Smart Bath Mats are made from diatomaceous earth. This is also known as D.E or Diatomite and is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous, sedimentary rock that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder.
It has a low density and strong water absorption due to its high porosity and high surface area. This means extra water absorption, which gets rid of that damp smell!
Diatomite can help control humidity, which is ideal for thermal insulation and sound insulation. It is highly absorbent and can remove moisture and water vapour, so as to improve indoor air quality.
The Smart Mats are safe and chemical free. There are no harmful chemicals as it is created from completely natural materials. You can also minimise the risk of slipping with this bath mat, as it is anti-slip.

Attention:
– If you feel micronised powders on the surface, do not worry. This is not a quality problem but a normal phenomenon generated in the productive process. You can use a damp cloth and lightly rub it away.
– If stains occur on the surface of the mat, you can wash it with water and then use sandpaper to gently grind the surface until it is removed. Then let the mat air dry.
– Do not expose it directly under sunlight for a long time.
– Absorption effects can depend on the temperature and humidity.
